Exotic Wildlife Sanctuary
Biological
Treatment Summary
The Situation
A wildlife sanctuary that raises
lions, tigers, cougars and other exotic wildlife had
been experiencing problems with algae growth and organic
buildup in the very large water tanks used for the
animals. The owner of the sanctuary was concerned about
the sight and smell, build up of bottom solids, as well
as the safety to the wildlife's health.
The Solution
A proposed initial
maintenance and follow-up treatment program that
consisted of the addition of Aquaculture into the
water tanks to eliminate the organics and odor problem,
and reduce bottom solids.
The Results
Within five days of beginning
treatment program, Aquaculture had
reduced the organic load and eliminated the odors in the
water tanks. After a short period of time,
Aquaculture completely eliminated the organic load, and
reduced the bottom solids in all the tanks. The wildlife
sanctuary continues to use Aquaculture to keep the
organic load and bottom solids under control.
